Lost and Found
Fine Art Exhibition at the Biscayne Nature Center

Hans Feyerabend takes on the "Wild" side of South Florida in this exhibition at the Biscayne Nature Center on Key Biscayne.

The title of the show "Lost and found" refers to the ever changing character of our natural surroundings: a sea creatures life lost becomes a found "treasure" on the beach, admired for its unique color and shape. The sculptures "Seepferd" (Sea Horse) and "Octopus" are made from palm and tree branches found in and around Miami. They lost their purpose for the plant, which shed them off, to become part of a new entity, a work of art.

On display are also paintings depicting the local landscape and the animals living in it in various media and scale. The exhibit runs from March 3 to April 29.
