Introduction to Drawing Beginner/Intermediate, 3 day, $240
“Seeing” is the first step in learning how to draw. Discover how to sharpen your powers of observation, improve your drawing skills, and use drawing as a creative process. Individual coaching will give you confidence and guide you through the use of basic design principles.
Drawing 2 Intermediate/Advanced, 3 day, $240
This course will focus on representational figure and still life drawing. Using the fundamental principles of perception (light, plane, structure, tonal value, perspective, and proportion) we will learn to construct images that interpret what we see. Students will gain confidence and learn to compose and create unique works. Individual attention will be emphasized.$30 model fee
Painting Beginner/Intermediate, 3 day, $240
Techniques, tools, materials and composition will be explored, as well as our base of visual attraction and the need for expression. Learn the basic techniques of painting to express your own style. Become inspired by great artists through slide presentations. Examine color, composition & form. Individual instruction accommodates beginners and advanced students.
This class is designed to benefit all levels of talent and experience.
Oil Painting All Levels dates TBA
Learn the technical and expressive fundamentals of oil painting. Through individual instruction, explore composition, color, form, space, and paint handling. Experience in drawing is not necessary.
Acrylic Painting Beginner/Intermediate dates TBA
Conquer your fear or satisfy your curiosity about painting by picking up a paintbrush. Learn basic acrylic techniques, color, composition, and design fundamentals while developing your personal style. Demonstration and individual guidance are provided.

Mosaic Workshops - Gina Hubler
Level 1 - 2 day introductory class which incorporates a direct method of setting with tiles and „treasures”. We will discuss the history and styles of mosaics.$155.00
Level 2 - This 2 day indirect method mosaic class where you will learn a time honored method of setting glass indirectly for tabletops or installations. $175.00
Intensive - 5 day class which includes direct and indirect methods of application, as well as classical setting techniques used with smalti and natural stone. Exploration into materials and tooling. $600.00
Micro-Macro Mosaics - 3 day class where you will conceive and create micro-macro mosaics. This is a contemporary spin on ancient jewelry techniques. $400.00
The Business of Mosaics; Wall Mural Class - 3 day class focuses on the business, design and creation of wall murals. $400.00
Portraits in Mosaic - 5 day class you will learn the double indirect method, working with marble, smalti, and porcelain. Experience the intricacies of creating a portrait, and working with traditional mosaic tooling. You will accomplish portraiture of a Byzantine master. $550.00
Masters Class (Prerequisite Intensive Workshop)
Using the knowledge gained we will focus on creating a work of art based on a master artist or style. $450.00
All mosaic classes with the exception of the Masters Class are inclusive of all material fees.

Monday 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., 6 weeks, through May 17
Develop your own personal style! Create mixing wet and dry media, exploring texture and compatibility of different materials. A fun class to explore your creativity! $225.00
As art educators, we desire to inspire our students and have them gain confidence that they can create. It is from within that great art is developed through inspiration and preserverence. The insight to acknowledge ones ability to create as well as to act on it, is a gift. At the Atelier we would like to help others gain this confidence, as well as obtain technical knowledge which will help them to create at their highest levels.
We also believe taht art is a very strong form of therapy, and that everyone can benefit from its power. It is a mission of the Atelier to share our gifts as professional artists and educators. Our classes are scheduled for 3 to 10 students. Our small class size allows us to give personalized attention to each individual.
